Entitled "Thumb Area Agri-Business 2100," the project is the result of joint planning by a number of agriculture-related businesses and organizations. Thumb Area Michigan Works! assisted in organizing the project and will be responsible for ensuring it is successful.

"We are pleased, proud and cautiously optimistic for creating a unified, progressive opportunity for all involved in agri-business," Thumb Area Michigan Works! Director Marv Pichla said.

He added, "The Thumb Area has a great history of working together on a number of issues and I know the Agri-Business 2100 Project builds on the strength already felt in this specialty business sector".
