By moving the sale to that weekend, the Chamber hopes to bring in more shoppers for the local residents. The sale will not be held the last weekend of July, as in previous years.

If residents with a Port Hope mailing address want to be included on the map, please call Darleen Ferensic at (989) 428-4178 by August 1. The maps will be available at downtown businesses the weekend of the Yard Sale Trail. If you have any questions, please contact Ferensic at the number above.

Other upcoming Chamber sponsored events include the A-B-C Day on August 18 and the Fall Hoedown on October 20.

A-B-C Day, which stands for Antiques, Bean Soup, Crafts and Collectibles, will have items for sale around town. There will also be a presentation in the fire hall at 4:00 p.m. by Jim Hunter.

The Fall Hoedown features Emerson Pilaske's band and the doors will open at 6:00 p.m.
