Unionville hosts first Farmers' Market



Organizers of the First Annual Unionville Farmers' Market are preparing for a day filled with fun and activities for families.

On Saturday July 26, the downtown streets will be filled crafts, garage sales, an Ice Cream Social, a Fashion Show and entertainment.

"We don't have all the times yet, but we will soon," said Village of Unionville Clerk Carole Gangler. "So check back as the day gets closer."

Other fun family events include bake sales, a book sale and bike give away at the Columbia Township Library, as well as pony rides, face painting, a petting zoo and food galore.

Throughout the day 50/50 raffles are held and the Pickle Band in Kemp Memorial Park and a DJ will provide entertainment.

The Village of Unionville also wants to remind softball fans and players about the Unionville Ball Tournament on August 1 through August 3 at the Village Park.
