Both events take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Huron County Farm Bureau office, at 711 N. Van Dyke, Bad Axe. There is no charge to attend and refreshments will be provided.

Due to the large number of candidates running this year, Farm Bureau will host one meeting for the local commissioner and prosecuting attorney elections on July 24 and one meeting for the county clerk, treasurer, register of deeds and sheriff, as well as the 84th District elections on July 31.

More than 30 invitations have been sent out to candidates and Farm Bureau is expecting a good turn out.

Organizers stress that this will be a purely informational meeting... NOT a debate. Each candidate will be allotted five minutes for a brief presentation, and an additional five minutes to field questions from those attending.
