All-State honors

All-State selections announced

Recently, several areas athletes were selected as All-State honorees. They include:

2nd Team All-State
Kaycee Damm, EPBP
3rd Team All-State
Megan Jobes, EPBP
Honorable Mention All-State
Brittany Albrecht, EPBP
Beth Ritter, EPBP
Jenny Morneau, Bad Axe
Katie Essian, Bad Axe
Jillian Roggenbuck, Harbor Beach

The Laker girls also qualified for the All-State Academic Team award. This is the 10th year in a row that they qualified for that award, which has a minimum standard of a 3.3 GPA.

EPBP had seniors qualify for individual academic All-State awards: Ritter, Julia Voelker, Jobes, Jackie Yoder, Katelyn Thick, Kate Gettel and Erin Gettel. Seniors qualify for this award by meeting a standard of 3.5 or higher.
