Bill Piotter; Friend of Youth, Ubly

This year's Friend of Youth selection from Ubly was retired high school Math teacher Bill Piotter. Piotter taught at Ubly for 37 years from 1968-2005, but his contributions extended way beyond on the classroom doors.

He was known as a dependable volunteer who was always willing to make time to run the clock at football and basketball games. "He was always there and could be counted on," High School Principal Fred Ligrow said.
