The autopsy, performed May 25, by Dr. Virani, a forensic pathologist, indicates she died of a ruptured aneurysm on the right side of her brain.

According to Huron County Prosecuting Attorney Mark Gaertner, Mrs. Lassiter's daughters called the Sheriff Department stating they had not heard from nor seen the woman in three days.

The officers found the home to be "open" and no forced entry signs.

"She (Marilyn Lassiter) was found in the master bedroom bath, found next to the tub, face up, nude and the bathtub full of water; the water was not running," explained Huron County Prosecutor Gaertner.

There were no signs of entrance wounds, but some bruising, according to Gaertner.

"What raised the red flag is there was some frothing or foaming at the mouth," said Gaertner

Lassiter had previously been charged with manslaughter - death by weapon in the death of her late husband, Lionel Glenn Lassiter, Jr.

The case is now closed.
