Michigan State Police need your help

Trooper McComb was dispatched to a local bank for a fraudulent payroll check. The suspect went into a local bank at the north end of Bad Axe, opened an account and deposited the fraudulent check. Later that day, the suspect withdrew $1,000 from that account. The suspect also withdrew over $500 from this account from another branch in Sandusky on Monday before the check was discovered to be fraud.

Trooper McComb is asking area banks and stores to be on the lookout for one, possibly two black females in their early 20s, possibly from the Detroit area. One of the females was last seen with bright red hair. The fraudulent payroll checks are from Four Seasons Health Care Center and are made out for amounts between $1,000-$2,000.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Michigan State Police-Bad Axe Post at (989) 269-6441.
