Bad Axe rolls over Sandusky

The Hatchet offense exploded against the Redskins, with Mandy McCracken leading the way with a hat trick and Sarah Thoms adding a pair of scores. Jackie Rochefort added a goal and two assists, Jennifer Morneau a goal and an assist, Katie Essian with a goal, Hanna Pankratz with two assists and Sami Rochefort with one assist.
Allyson Mattice had four saves in net for Bad Axe.

EPBP 9, Cass City 1
The Lakers improved to 7-0 in the GTC and 8-2-2 overall with a win over the Red Hawks last week.
Megan Jobes led EPBP with two goals and three assists, while Kaycee Damm and Stephanie Maxwell added a pair of scores and an assist apiece. Katie Beachy chipped in with a goal and an assist, while Brittany Albrecht and Erin Gettel also scored. Anna Gonzales added an assist.
In net, Beth Ritter made five saves for Lakers.

Harbor Beach 4, Marlette 0
The Pirates shut out the Red Raiders to win their first home game of the year last Monday.
Jillian Roggenbuck and Jennifer Sorenson each had one goal and one assist for Harbor Beach, while Abby Lemanski also found the net. Hannah Wilson scored the Pirate's final goal on a penalty kick.
"My midfield players (Kara Hess, Hannah Wilson and Heidi Grekowicz) controlled much of the field for us, giving the offense the opportunities to score and controlled the pace of the game in the second period," coach Jeff Hall explained.
