PLAYER OF THE YEAR-Brandon Dubs, Owen-Gage: Dubs averaged nearly 12 ppg, to help lead the Bulldogs to the NCTL North title. He is also one of the best free throw shooters in the area, converting on over 70 percent of his attempts. His best games of the season include 23 points against Peck and 22 against Caseville including a 10-for-10 effort from the charity stripe. Brad Hartel, Cass City: Hartel averaged nearly 13 ppg for the Red Hawks this season, while averaging over two three-pointers a game and shooting around 70 percent from the free throw line. His best efforts of the season include 22 points against Reese and 21 against Bad Axe. Eric Zaleski, Owen-Gage: Zaleski is the second leading scorer on the Bulldogs, averaging over 11 ppg and providing a solid one-two punch with Dubs. His best game of the season was a 22-point effort against CPS. Errick Miles, EPBP: If there is one word to describe Miles this season, it would be consistent. Miles averaged around 11 ppg, shot over 70 percent from the charity stripe, and averaged over one three-pointer a game. His best game of the season came against Ubly, where he scored 20 points including four triples. Tim Holland, USA: Despite missing four games due to injury, Holland still managed to lead his team with a 13 ppg scoring average. Some of his best games of the season included 24 points against Hemlock and 21 points against EPBP in his return last week. |
